RMT Accountants & Business Advisors has appointed Ashleigh Doran and Rachael Ormston – bringing the number of recruits to five in the last year.
Doran, from Houghton-le-Spring, has moved from a smaller regional practice to become an accounts senior in RMT’s commercial services department.
Her experience ranges from working with sole traders through to limited companies and she now has responsibility for managing the tax and financial affairs of a number of clients across a range of market sectors.
Ormston has joined RMT’s specialist medical division, which is one of the UK’s leading practices of its type and which provides tailored financial advice and guidance to medical professionals right across the North East and elsewhere in the UK.
A fully-qualified accounting technician, she has moved to RMT from another regional accountancy practice where she also worked on a range of medical clients as well as being involved across other market sectors.
She said: “RMT has a strong reputation within our industry, and joining gives me the chance to develop my career with an ambitious, growing practice. It’s a friendly atmosphere and I’m very much enjoying working with both my new colleagues and clients.”
John Richards, director at RMT, said: “Both Rachael and Ashleigh have already begun to build successful careers for themselves, and joining RMT will provide them with new opportunities to learn and achieve even more.
“These appointments are the latest part in an ongoing recruitment drive that’s being driven by our continuing growth, and we are continuing to bring more people in to support the needs of our growing client base when the right opportunities arise.”
RMT provides the full range of financial and business advisory services through its corporate finance, recovery & insolvency, medical and specialist tax divisions.
