During 2005 RMT were approached by two entrepreneurs who were hoping to set up a specialist retail clothing business in the north east.
Following this initial contact:
- A free initial meeting was arranged to provide advice on the structure of the business and the individuals were advised as to the action that was required to get the business up and running.
- A fixed fee proposal was provided including free telephone support on ad hoc matters.
- A company was formed and RMT also dealt with statutory documents to appoint directors and a company secretary and change the situation of the registered office.
- A VAT registration form was completed.
- The Inland Revenue were notified that the business had commenced trading.
- Advice on an accounting system was provided.
- RMT liaised with the company’s bankers to open a bank account.
- Ongoing telephone and e-mail support has been provided to the company.
- The company were given access to RMT’s facilities in order to demonstrate their products.
RMT have been involved in helping the business through its transitional period and this support has enabled the business to develop and overcome any issues that have arisen.
