SIX new members of staff have joined a fast-growing North East accountancy practice.
SIX new members of staff have joined a fast-growing North East accountancy practice.

RMT accountants and business advisers in Gosforth say the recruits will help the practice cope with its ongoing development in corporate finance, audit and recovery and IT services.
Aidan Cleghorn, Phil Harnby and Laura Burns have been appointed as accountants following a rise in customers seeking RMT’s services.
Mr Cleghorn will work with a number of owner managed and corporate clients. He joins the team from Haines Watts.
Mr Harnby, who is from Bishop Auckland, has joined RMT’s expanding owner managed business department as an accountant from Horwath Clark Whitehall. Ms Burns has also been appointed after working at Dickenson Middleton, an accountancy firm in Scotland.
She has recently qualified and will assist with a number of audit clients.
Michael Thornton has joined RMT following an increased demand for its virtual accounts office, which allows clients to access their accounts online.
Craig Ward, who is from Killingworth, has been employed as an IT technician to support RMT’s expanding IT team.
Matthew Flinders has been appointed as marketing manager, having formerly worked at Pharma Nord UK and will be responsible for overseeing the marketing function at RMT.
