Chris Ferguson

Chris joined RMT Accountants & Business Advisors as Head of Recovery and Insolvency in 2019 and was promoted to Director in 2023.  He is now Director of Insolvency at RMT KSA.

Prior to this, Chris spent almost two decades working in senior roles for some of the UK’s largest professional services firms, including Deloitte and EY focusing primarily on corporate restructuring.

As well as managing RMT’s formal insolvency appointments, he has extensive corporate advisory experience including cash flow management, strategic option reviews, debt funding strategies for distressed businesses and exit management for lenders and stakeholders.

Chris is a licensed insolvency practitioner, a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and the former North East chair of insolvency and restructuring trade body R3.
